Before buying my first freeze-dryer, I spent nearly two years researching, comparing options, and trying to understand what I was really getting into.

Since then, I’ve gained plenty of hands-on experience, made mistakes, bought things I didn’t need, built a freeze-dried food and candy business, and learned lessons no product brochure could have taught me.

I created this book because I remember how overwhelming the decision felt. I’m not here to convince you to buy a freeze-dryer. I’m here to share what I wish someone had told me, so you can make the decision that is right for you.

Think of this as honest advice from a friend who has already been through it.
